Anthony Long
Long is professor of the Graduate School at Berkeley and Chancellor’s Professor Emeritus of Classics and Irving G. Stone Professor Emeritus of Literature; he is also an affiliated professor of philosophy and rhetoric. He received his B.A. from University College London in 1960 and Ph.D. from the University of London in 1964. His research interests include Greek and Roman philosophy and Greek literature. Long’s latest books are Greek Models of Mind and Self (Harvard UP 2015) and, with M. Graver, Seneca, Letters on Ethics (Chicago UP 2015).
