What are the economic impacts of weather, global warming, and rising sea levels?
Bea is a professor in the department of civil and environmental engineering, engineering and project management group. He also serves as co-director of Berkeley’s Center for Catastrophic Risk Management. Bea started his engineering career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He then worked for Shell Oil, Shell Development, and Royal Dutch Shell companies in a variety of roles around the world.
Sunding is the Thomas J. Graff Professor in Environmental and Resource Economics in the College of Natural Resources and chair of the department of agricultural and resource economics. He received his Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics form Berkeley in 1989 and is the founding director of the Berkeley Water Center. Previously, he served as a senior economist at the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.
