Nacht holds the Thomas and Alison Schneider Chair in Public Policy in the Goldman School of Public Policy. An expert in U.S. national security and foreign policy, and management strategies for public organizations, Nacht is the author or co-author of six books and more than 80 book chapters and journal articles in these fields. He has twice held U.S. Senate-confirmed positions in national security policy.

Arthur Reingold

Reingold is professor and division head of the Department of Epidemiology in Berkeley’s School of Public Health. he received his M.D. and B.A. from the University of Chicago. Reingold’s current research interests include prevention of transmission of HIV in developing countries, the intersection of the HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis epidemics, malaria in Uganda, emerging and re-emerging infections in the US and globally, sexual transmission of hepatitis C virus, vaccine-preventable diseases, and respiratory infections in childhood.
